Why we made Love Explorer

Somewhere between work, washing up and "what shall we watch?", couples stop asking each other the interesting questions. Not because they've run out, but because nobody makes time for them.

We believe closeness grows in small moments more than big gestures, and that curiosity does more good than advice. So Love Explorer makes the time: a few minutes a day, each on your own phone, playful before serious. Answer apart, reveal together, and find out what you didn't know you didn't know.

We're a small team in the UK, and a real couple ourselves, together for more than thirty years. Some things we'll never do: no ads, no selling your data, and nobody on our team reads your journal. No therapy-speak either. Just the two of you, a little sky and a lot of curiosity.

Do we both need to join?

Love Explorer is made for two, each on your own phone. One of you starts, then invites the other with a code or link. You can also start on your own and invite your partner later.

What can my partner see?

Your answers to steps for two, once you've both answered, plus anything you choose to share, your love notes and your mood. Your journal stays yours. See exactly what's shared.

Does one subscription really cover us both?

Yes. While you're linked, one subscription opens Love Explorer for both of you. The yearly plan comes with a 3-day free trial.

Is there an app?

Love Explorer works in any browser today. On your phone, add it to your Home Screen and it opens like an app, with notifications. An iPhone app is on its way to the App Store.

Is this therapy?

No. Love Explorer is a playful way to talk and grow closer. It isn't therapy or counselling, and it isn't a substitute for professional help. The planets don't predict anything either: they're just a map for conversation.

Who is it for?

Any couple, at any stage: a new chapter, together a while, in it for the long run, raising children or long-distance. Love Explorer is for adults aged 18 and over.
